Bus Wrap

So I went back to one of the initial sketches for the bus wrap, as the "skull" design would be a little out of place for a bus to promote scad and the Illustration department. So here's what my final design looks like.. (excuse the ugly watermark)

Bus Wrap

So for one of my last Illustration classes at SCAD, we are creating a design for a bus that would represent the Illustration department here. Other departments such as the sound,photography and animation ones already have buses , but at the moment there isn't one for Illustration.
So, the first sketch was what i initially started drawing as an idea of a face/skull/mask design that I thought would look cool with lots of bright colors on it..

it then developed into more of a 'wrap' with the left mask being placed on the left side of the bus, the center mask on the back of the bus, and then finally the right mask on the right side. The hair will connect all 3 faces.

the image above was roughly drawn with a ball pen, just to get my idea down..

& this is what i have thus far..composition wise. I'm stilll debating how im going to execute it and what colors I should use...though I have some ideas floating around in my head :)

1st ever Blod

Hello world,
So I decided to follow the trend of keeping you all updated with what I am working on and doing in my day to day life. So, this is my first post. I hope you will enjoy seeing my work and watch me grow with both my art and animations. I'm currently working on my Senior 3d animation short , that needs to be completed within the next few weeks and so I won't be too active initially.
As for my Illustration work, I am currently working on an assignment for a SCAD Bus wrap around and will be posting my sketches and comps for that shortly (:
